Our History

For more than 50 years, members of the Parkes family have been building and repairing roofs in the Doncaster area. Starting from humble beginnings, we have grown and grown, developing a reputation for both quality and value, and the business has now seen three generations of our family join.  We are not aware of any other local roofing company that has been trading longer than us - a fact of which we are enormously proud.

We have worked on many historic and high-profile buildings in and around Doncaster; too numerous to list them all individually they include 12 churches, many of Doncaster's schools including Doncaster Deaf College, Doncaster Racecourse, Doncaster Airport, Rossington Hall, Northern Racing College and many more.

Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council Building Control and Planning Department have long recommended us to people looking for a roofer in Doncaster, and we are a trusted service provider to several local parish councils.

We are proud of our Doncaster heritage and like to get involved in local events. In the past this has even involved sponsoring a race at Doncaster Racecourse!
